South Korea
South Korea has been a frontrunner in bioeconomy research, launching "Bio-Vision 2016" to focus on biotechnology and bioeconomy development. This initiative aims to make South Korea a leader in bio-based industries and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through bioenergy.
