2.1 Bioeconomy of Bangladesh

There is no specific definition of Bangladesh bioeconomy. Bangladesh is a sizable developing nation with a high population density. The bioeconomy may play a significant role in ensuring Bangladesh’s environmental and food security. In Bangladesh, the term “bioeconomy” is relatively new, and few people are familiar with it. Food security and environmental sustainability should be hot topics for conversation given the size of the population. Despite Bangladesh having all the necessary conditions for a bioeconomy, it is not as well known as it is in the west (Talha, A.M., 2021).
